Capel 5 mile race and Fun run update
The Capel 5 and 1 mile fun run
will return on October 12th
2025.
We thank our sponsors for

The race is located at Capel St,
Mary sports pavilion, Friars,
Capel St. Mary IP9 2XS.

Entries will be opening soon
The race will be chip timed and we will have online registration and transfers.
250 places available
Race starts at 10:30am.
Entry fee £14 affiliated, £16 non affiliated.
Entrants must be 15 or over.
There will not be any on the day registrations.
Sorry but there will be no refunds.
The race is run under UK Athletics rules.
No in ear headphones permitted.
Bone conducting headphones will be allowed.
The course is a 5mile undulating road race taking you through and out of the village of Capel St Mary. It is an out and back route with a small section along 400m of footpath through fields before heading back into the village.
There will be prizes for category winners after the race for
1st Male and 1st Female
1st local resident,
FO, FV40, FV50, FV60, FV70
MO, MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70
Capel 1 mile children's fun run
Run starts at 9;45am, online registrations only.
No on the day registrations.
£3 per runner, entrants must be under 15, adults
can accompany young children if needed.
The course is entirely within the playing fields and
as in previous years will be chip timed.
Medals for all finishers and prizes
for
1st boy under 8, 1st girl under 8,
1st boy under 11, 1st Girl under 11,
1st boy under 15, 1st girl under 15.
Limit of 125 places.
