will return on October 11th 2026

Entries are open.
The 2026 Capel 5 race is included in the
Suffolk Grand Prix,
All affiliated runners will be automatically
included in the GP series scores.
There are 300 places available this year.
Race starts at10:30am
Fees are £16 affiliated and
£18 non affiliated.
Entrants must be 15 or over.
There will not be any on the day registrations.
Sorry but there will be no refunds.
The race is run under UK Athletics rules.
The Capel 5 takes place on open roads
and for safety reasons the wearing of
any headphones/earpods
(including bone conducting earphones)
are strictly forbidden.
Anyone wearing headphones/earpods
will be disqualified.
The course is a 5 mile undulating road race
taking you through and out of the village of
Capel St. Mary.
It is an out and back route with a small
section along 400mts of footpath through
fields before heading back into the village.
There will be prizes for category winners
after the race.

Capel 1 mile children's fun run
Run starts at 9:45am, online registrations
only.
No on the day registrations.
£4 per runner, entrants must be under 15,
adults can accompany young children
if needed.
The course is run entirely within the
playing fields and as in previous years will be
chip timed.
Medals for al finishers and prizes
for
1st boy under 8, 1st girl under 8,
1st boy under 11, 1st girl under 11,
1st boy under 15, 1st girl under 15.
Limit of 125 places.
